Cu Chi Tunnel Tour

The Cu Chi tunnels are considered as one of the top destinations for tourists in Ho Chi Minh city. Cu Chi is far away from the center of Ho Chi Minh city about 70km (40 miles), this destination was chosen to be a base for Vietnamese to combat U.S troops in the war. You will be surprised because you cannot imagine how citizens could build and live easily under interlaced and tight network of tunnels.

07h30 AM: Departing from Tourism Corporation VieTourist office at 95 – 97 – 99 Tran Hung Dao street, Cau Ong Lanh ward, district 1 and arriving at Handicaft Village. You can find out about traditional Vietnamese art paitings. Paintings are drawn sophisticatedly and brightly.

We may stop along the way for refreshments and toilet.

09h00 AM: It takes us 1 hour to reach Ben Dinh – a system network belongs to Cu Chi tunnels.

When you go through the entrance, you will watch a brief of propaganda video, which introduces Vietnam war and how the  tunnels were utilized to struggle against G.Is in the Vietnam war. 

We will visit surroundings and follow our tour guide to discover Ben Dinh tunnel. The tour guide will explain to you the life of people who lived under the ground and how they survived and contacted with each other.

Then, you will experience it realistically by crawling through the tunnels and eating boiled tapioca which was the main food people had to digest day by day. Take some rest and have intersting conversations about the war in the past.

12h00 PM: The coach/ car will take us back to Ho Chi Minh City.
